Healing Hooves Sanctuary

Various farm animals at Healing Hooves Sanctuary during sunset.

Meet our Farm Friends

A horse named Chance at sunset in a fenced pasture.

Mustang

Chance, our gelding, was mistakenly put into quarantine with 3 other horses at the BLM. We gave him a second chance. He is curious and slowly learning that connection is safe.

A brown horse named Roma grazing during sunset in a field.

Mustang

Roma, our mare, was one of the mustangs in quarantine with Chance. She was taken back to BLM prior to her last owner. She is domesticated and loves her food.

A small pony stands in a fenced area at sunset, with the word 'Haven' overlayed.

Blind Pony

A rescue who is a gentle soul in his early 20s, Haven is completely blind but learning to trust again.

Two horses named Berry and Ginger stand side by side in a fenced area under a clear sky.

Connection Horses

These special mares will help welcome people into the sanctuary experience.

Berry is a retired thoroughbred racehorse with a big heart, She brings calm, connection, and gentle presence.

Ginger is also a retired thoroughbred racehorse. She is gregarious, silly, a little dramatic, and incredibly kind hearted.
